4 inch diameter (standard) by 24 inches long

Optional accelerator design featuring a 4 inch to 2 inch offset transition (accelerator head is 24 inches long: for example, the 4 inch diameter can be 14 inches long and the remaining 10 inches can be 2 inches in diameter. The smaller diameter allows for packaging space for detectors or merely closer "access to target."
