 Activation Technology's N-550 Neutron
Generator is a compact and versatile system that operates in a pulsed and continuous mode.
The system operates from 1Hz to 10kHz and 1% to 50% duty cycle (variable), The neutron
output is variable up to 2 x 108 n/second. Neutron tubes producing 2.6 MeV from
a D-D reaction are also available. The N-550 neutron generator's main components include the accelerator head, ion source pulser, HV power supply and control circuitry. The pulser, power supply and controller are rack mounted and interconnect to the accelerator via low voltage and high voltage coaxial cables. The main rack containing the pulser, power supply and controller are interfaced to the users computer terminal via RS-485/422 cabling. The pulser, power supply and controller may be separated from one another for special applications. |
