The optional menu driven software package includes a user friendly interface developed to emulate the front panel of the N-250 Control Chassis. The program still communicates via the RS-485/422 interface thus allowing remote operation of the neutron generator. With this advance, the need for the operator to manually fire the neutron generator in a counting system such as passive/active drum counter is eliminated. Computer control can be enabled or disabled without exiting the program.
