Activation Technology's
N-250 Pulsed Neutron Generator is a compact and versatile system that produces neutron bursts in a 10 microsecond wide pulse at repetition rates up to 100 pulses per second. The neutron output for D-T reaction is 2 to 3 x 10⁶ 14 MeV neutrons per pulse at 1 pps (10⁸ n/second at 100 pps). Neutron tubes producing 2.6 MeV from a D-D reaction are also available.

The N-250's main components include an accelerator head (TTA), a drive chassis (PFN), and a main control chassis. These components are interconnected through coaxial cables. The main control chassis then interfaces to a personal computer via a PC interface.
